Artists statement.
Doodle 4 google.

I was able to overcome all of the challenges I had with this project. I learned how to take inspiration and make it part of my artwork. This artwork shows a desalination machine that shows how it sucks up seawater, desalinates it, and then converts it to rainwater.

I was partially inspired by this picture and i used the inspiration to get my art project done. Part of my problems with this project was inspiration, this helped correct that problem.

For our doodle for google project we were supposed to draw a picture (with the google logo) of a futuristic world and draw how this would make the world a better place .I saw desalination as a viable option for water source and energy. Desalination may not be cost effective but it is a clean way to combat the water shortage that will eventually happen.

I had many challenges throughout this project, the 5$ budget was the hardest to get over. But I persisted and the end product was amazing. This project has taught me limitations can drive us to success.

The next step was designing the blade. So I went to home depot, and got a plastic bulb guard for 2.57 and a 1 dollar travel flashlight. I simply removed the 2 caps off of the blade portion. I then cut with an hobby knife a small vertical cut to allow the blade to be inserted into the hilt. I then took the flashlight and inserted it through the bottom of the hilt. then I screwed one of the caps onto the bottom of the hilt to keep it from falling off. I then colored the blade blue. I persisted through the challenges this project offered.
Shom/Abr: Artists engage and persist part 1.
The first step I took was designing the hilt. Which I made out of a cardboard paper towel roll and some Styrofoam cups. I first cut out some Styrofoam and made into a hilt guard. Then I cut out a circle and placed that onto the middle. Then cut out some other strips of Styrofoam and made that into a grip for my lower hand. (designed to be two handed). I had many challenges designing the hilt but I persisted and the end result was amazing.

My 3D choice project is a lightsaber. I first got inspired by a professional one that belonged to me at home. (shown below.)
I chose to create one out of ordinary household items such as Styrofoam cups, Aluminum bulb holders and cardboard.

3D choice proposal.
My idea is to construct (with a 5$ budget.) A homemade lightsaber. With a 5$ budget I will make one of these. The materials I will need are a cardboard tube, Another clear plastic tube and a 2$ flashlight and sharpies. Most of these I have at home.
This will help me embrace the concept of accepting limitations as strengths and let them drive me to excellence.

Earth art project.
My earth art project is right here. This is a picture of the white deer park which my neighborhood has a trail to.
This park is flourishing with nature and liveliness. This is before of course A foresting company comes and harvests the trees. Unless the state government passes a law that makes this area protected.
